Chico Productions, founded and lead by Ron Stoeffler, executive producer, is decades old with a new and fresh outlook.  This newly reorganized group of creative's develops and produces enjoyable original content and culture changing stories for film and television.

We believe diversity both in front of and behind the camera isn't just important but imperative.

Ron chose the name Chico for his production company from television character Chico Rodriguez.  Chico was played outstandingly by the late Freddie Prinze Sr.  Freddie was the soul behind this character and his life blood.  Chico was the lead Mexican American character in Chico and the Man.  One of the first diverse leads in television and it was one of the first sitcoms to feature an interracial cast in the business that premiered in 1974. 

Additionally, Chico and the Man was also one of the first shows to attract a diverse audience and finally Hispanic viewers could see themselves represented on television.

Like the main characters in Chico and the Man, we aim to tackle the never-ending racial divide between race and culture in our society through the creation of great stories.
